No, merchants will not be charged for dispatching e-receipts.

Please note that the mPOS receipt does not substitute a store receipt which provides proof of purchase.

You can view your mPOS transactions in real time. Transactions can be downloaded into a CSV/Excel file for further analysis.
Transaction Dashboard Analytics: View your historical mPOS transaction trends by going to the Transaction Analytics tab. See information based on Transaction Value, Number of Transactions, Payment Types and Payment Status.
Receipt Regeneration: Receipts can be regenerated via the NCB mPOS Portal.

Ensure Location and Bluetooth settings are enabled on the device.
Ensure phone is connected to the internet.
In the event that you are unable to pair the device, complete the following:

Select “Forget” mPOS card reader from Bluetooth settings on device and re-pair.
Restart/turn off and on both the mPOS card reader and device.
Attempt transaction with a different device. This involves downloading the NCB mPOS app on an alternative phone.
There may be a hardware issue with the card reader. If so, the card reader will need replacement. Please contact our Merchant Support Line at (876) 935-2600 for assistance.
If you receive an “App not available in your region” error when trying to download the NCB mPOS app, it means your Google or Apple account is not set to Jamaica. To resolve this, update your account location in the Play Store or App Store settings to Jamaica.
Check the Play Store or App Store for NCB mPOS app updates to ensure you are using the most recent version of the app.

Error occurs when trying to login with Terminal ID (TID) without internet.
Recommended action: Ensure device is connected to the interne

Timeout occurs if the NCB mPOS app is unable to connect to a card reader.
Recommended action: Attempt “Unsuccessful Pairing” tips shared above.

This error occurs when an incorrect Terminal ID is entered during the login process.
Recommended action: Carefully enter the assigned Terminal ID (TID) when prompted. You will be required to enter it twice, and both entries must match for verification.

Transactions may decline due to incorrect input such as entering incorrect PIN or choosing incorrect account, such as Savings vs Chequing.
